Photoshop has repaired more relationships than couples therapy.
Every logo begins with one ugly circle.
Nothing is more terrifying than opening a magazine file without the fonts.
Hi, I'm Salvatore.
I grew up surrounded by paper, ink and printing presses.
While my dad brought ideas to life through print, my mum taught me to see beauty in everyday things.
Looking back, it's no surprise I ended up becoming a creative.
I was born in southern Italy and later moved to Malta, where I built my career as a designer while discovering photography, video, editorial design and visual storytelling.
Along the way I've met inspiring creatives who continue to shape the way I think and create.
Today I love exploring everything that lives in the world of design, from branding and magazines to interiors, fashion and motion.
If it involves colours, typography, composition or beautiful details, I'm probably fascinated by it.
When I'm away from my screen, you'll probably find me cooking something ambitious, trying a new restaurant, or daydreaming about my next creative project.
I believe good design isn't just something you see.
It's something you feel.
In collaboration with DAAA Haus, the concept for Tokyo was to recreate the sensory experience of walking through the city's vibrant, fast-paced streets.
I led the branding and visual identity, designed the merchandise and supporting collateral, and curated the interior wall art. This involved selecting and composing an extensive collection of artworks inspired by Tokyo's street culture, creating an immersive environment that reflects the city's unique energy and visual language.
CISK & Kinnie · Malta
Farsons' iconic brands, CISK and Kinnie, inspired a merchandise collection built from over 70 years of archival artwork, celebrating their rich heritage through contemporary design.
My role included restoring historical prints in Photoshop, redrawing vintage graphics as vector artwork, designing new merchandise, creating original illustrations in Illustrator, and assisting during the lifestyle photoshoot to maintain a consistent visual direction. Every asset was created using traditional design techniques, without the use of AI.
Mind your business.
Just coffee cups and, v.2, v.3, v.4, v.final!!!, final111!!.
